Starting your business and don’t know which to start first?
Facebook page or group? .
,
.
Each has strengths and weaknesses.
.
.
Which is best for your business? .
.
If you are selling a lot of products and you want to get to your customers first dibs in the latest questions, conversations, coupons and deals- then a Facebook group is definitely right for you
.
.
You can upload group files that are easily searchable for everyone.
.
.
Your Facebook group members will be notified FIRST (instead of your stuff getting bumped to the bottom of the feed)
.
.
Facebook groups have their downfall as well- they are hard to find, impossible to tag and cannot be connected automatically to your business Instagram page.
.
.
My suggestion- use both for different reasons (if you have time of course!)
.
.
Put up your latest announcements and some of your work on the public page.
.
But use the private Facebook page to put your latest coupons, tips, tricks and questions to get your followers involved. A group is more likely for people to ask questions and to open up about real issues they’re having and invite their friends to join in the conversation.
.
Need help setting one of these up? How effective are they for your business? .
